Super duper cute, especially if you are a cat lover(I am)

Me, Myself and I

Got this personality test off Tetanus, thanks to my SO who pointed it my way:

Ta-Dah, the results:

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

Down to Earth? Check.
Straightforward? I'll tell soemeone what I think, but I'll put it in a nice way(most of the time), so that I dont end up hurting the other person's feelings. So I guess, Check.
But its true I always listen to both sides, because everyone is right(because they look at things from different angles, which is why there is an argument to begin with).

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

True romantic. Very true, ho ho ho. Look at all my favourite movies. Though you cant tell from how I look.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

Hmm. Proven.

The seriousness of your love:

Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Plenty of dates? (tries to recall my dating history). I was quite ok, but had more dates with ladies whom I dont consider a love interest. Too shy to ask my love interest(s) for a date(s).

Your views on education

Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.

Of course, I got my degree because 99% of the corporations out there needs it for me to prove my worth. Ptui. Education only teaches, or exposes things that you didnt know existed. I think of education as enlightening oneself to the vast wealth of knowledge out there, existing for anyone to attain, only if one has the heart to explore.

I hate those people who think, "Oh, I'm so superior/good just because I have a U degree".
My response:"Ya, your U degree is superior/good toilet paper".
Ptui.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

Wa, this test real uncanny. Really spot on. I'm in the process of finding out what I like to do. I'd like to think that I like to do A, because I missed a chance to do it 3 years ago. But I definitely dont like B(which is Engineering, which I what I am doing now), at least not here.

I think of myself as being to survive in any type of job, or even excel in it, but that doesnt mean I like it. I prefer(who doesnt) to excel in something I like, and wake up every morning raring to go to work. :D

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

Yes, thats what I'm telling myself. Check out this previous entry.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Spot on again. Even when I am typing this, I am wondering if I should admit to this, and how people who know me would think after reading this confession. I'm neurotic at times. Ha.

Who is your true self:

You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Correct. Thats me. I'll bring myself to a successful place in time to come.

I watched Be With You

Go watch it.

No movie has touched me so much since "Love Letter". Both nice, in their own bittersweet ways.

I'm a romantic at heart..

I watched Initial D

Last night, at Tampines Mall.

Noticed the audience is made up of

1) Ah bengs who are interested in watching the car race.
2) Young ladies/teenagers interested in Jay Chou.
3) The bf/escorts for (2).

But 1 thing is for sure, that the average age of yesterday's audience is way lower than mine. I feel so old in there.

Anyway, show wasnt too bad, quite good actually(tho the 'parallel import' DVD is cheaper). But the show was spoiled by the following:

1) The guy beside me was determined to show me he had large arms, large legs, by opening his legs "big big" beside me, and resting his arm on the common armrest. TMD, you can rest on the common armrest between you and (i think) your gf! Anyway, you were trying to paw her all night. I name him IG.

2) IG also made to make his predictions abt the film loudly. Like, oh, so-and-so going to happen next. Ptui. Keep your comments to yourself lah.

3) IG's GF( I name her IGGF), also have very audible comments about the show. But its always "Wa Lao Eh"*cringe*. E.g. when the camera showed that Anthony Wong is looking at some porn magazines, the rest of the audience laughs, but IGGF would (loudly) utter, "Wa Lao Eh!" ||~ . ~
Another e.g, when one of the actors(forgot his name) tries to bed his gf(in a comical way), she will go" Wa Lao Eh" again.. seesh..

4) Theres a bunch of Jay Chou teenage female fans in front, who giggles/screams whenever Jay Chou appears on screen. Even when he's crying. Please lah.

5) Theres this woman beside my wife, who unpolitely picked up her call in the middle of the movie.

But, nice movie.

How much is that doggy in that window?

Driving along to work this morning, stuck on the ECP(as usual), because a car has broken down before Benjamin Sheares Bridge in the direction of the AYE(not uncommon). If theres no rosak vehicle, normally there will be some accident after the speed camera. So when something like this happens, I eat JAM on ECP every morning.

Anyway, this particular morning, i was stuck in a jam behind this CRV type of vehicle, when a doggy(looks like a golden retriever) peeked out from the rear window and looked at me. Haha, what a surprise, so I waved back at it. I think the dog must be thinking "Who is that nutcase that is waving at me? Chey!" So he/she looked the other way, with a nonchalant look. But still very cute to me lah. Then he/she peeked back at me to see if I was still checking him/her out(I am). I wanted to take a photo with my camera phone(I know, very dangerous), when a black Honda Odyssey cut into the space between us. @$%@#%@#%. Nvm, I proceeded to wait for the Odyseey to filter out, but after it filtered out, a pick up came between us again, and after that pick up left, a trailer(!!!) was next. Not fated to take the photo lah.

Tailed behind the car, until it exited via the Marina South exit. His/her owner so nice, bringing him/her out for a walk on a cool morning such as this. :D

Quill is happy

I felt happy while giving Quill a bath today, and I think he's quite happy too, judging from the way he gleamed after the wash. :D Its like his way of smiling back at me.

I watched Wimbledon with my wife just now, quite nice I must say.. Heehee. I'm a romantic at heart. :-)

Having many happy/positive thoughts today, which is good, hope there will be more positive stuff coming soon. :-)

I need to be brave..

I am taking the first step today, that I am going to actively look for a new job, and leave this place.

I shall not waste any more time, in a place, where I am not recognised. I'll die a broken man.

I'm Mr Brown

Did the test from KennySia and look what I got:

Congratulations Anthony, you are...

mr brown of www.mrbrown.com

Like that ad for Toys 'R Us, you are that kid who doesn't want to grow up. Except you do. And now you're just a big overgrown kid who doesn't want grow up. You have a warped yet addictive sense of humour. It takes skills to poke fun at serious things and you have no problems doing that. Your peers look up to you and yet you're humble about everything. You are an infantile.

Which Singaporean Blogger Are You?

Interestingly, I realised when the change the answer to the second last question, you have varied answers.. hmm..

I'm a cheapo

Beeen a looooong while since I last blogged, partly due to some work problems(more on that in another post) and a little due to some home problems. But then, all is well now! :-)

Just had dinner prepared by wifey, very nice indeed. Must thank her for all the effort she put into making the prawn fritters so tasty! Yummy! We(me, wife, and her sister were discussing whether we could go into business to sell those. Since RotiBoy could open a few branches just by selling a kopi bun, why not us selling prawn fritters? Heh heh. Any1 interested to join this venture?

Anyway, went to YaKun @ Parkway Parade for breakfast this morning. I personally prefer the kaya roti by Killiney's, but I like the coffee from Ya Kun better. Then again, my wife and her sister likes the kaya roti AND the coffee at YaKun, so thats where we ended up.

After dinner, the gals wont miss the chance to shop around a bit, so I went to MPH to look at what books they have on offer. And today, I managed to finish this book,"How full is your Bucket?" while standing there.(thus saving myself $15). I'm beginning to like doing this. Heehee.

Quite interesting, this book is, you guys should go read through it when you all have time. It sorta touched a string regarding the recent developments in my life, especially regarding work, so I'd say its a good read.

Suddenly develop a writer's block now, think shall go play a round of WarCraft, since today is the last day of the weekend(I'm not supposed to play on weekends).

Oh ya, bought an electric toothbrush for my wife today, wonder if its any good.

Another side note, my wife's sister, aka sister-in-law, which I shall call R for short, caught me writing this. I suggested she could start one also, so she could practise writing and improve her english.. :-) Hi sister!
