Respect for passion

On the cat front, I finally adopted Kelly. A nice lady kitten who's adopting well the almost everything at home.

Went to Mutts and Mittens yesterday. Met Cohen, who runs the place. Chatted with him some, and learned that he used to be in the FnB industry. From his expression, there seemed to be another interesting story behind that, but for thats another day I guess. What I admire him, is that he can give up everything just to set up Mutts and Mittens, and he genuinely cares about animals. From the following

- The way the talks about the different vets in Singapore, and how and why he brings his animals to his current vets, even though they are much more expensive.
- The way he talks to me, and the questions he asks me before handing Kelly over to me.
- How he talks to students(they were there on a field trip when I was there) about taking care of animals.

He loves animals, and he walks this passion.

I have nothing but respect for this guy.

Viewed the Pearl siblings yesterday, and they were cute, albeit wary(of humans(
- Dark Pearl : Fun loving, innocent kitty. But he's the least good looking one. I have a soft spot for him though. I think he might have worms, so a trip to the vet will be necessary for adoption.
- Grey Pearl : The most handsome of the lot, his coat is prettier than Felix, truth be told. Curious but wary kitty. His character is somewhere between Dark and White Pearl.
- White Pearl : The lady of the lot. The most ferocious and wary of the lot. Poor girl, must have been abused when she was younger. :(

Today I'm going down to Mitts and Mittens to take a look at Kelly and Serene. Heard Serene has a strong character.. we shall see. Kelly, on the other hand, is the total opposite of Felix, character wise.

Oh well, I'm leaving it to Jane to make a decision on this one. I believe Felix has a character like mine, so Im letting Jane pick the one who she thinks she'll love more.

On another front, this week seems to be busy.. hmm

Mon: Kitten viewing
Tue: Kitten viewing + Pirates!
Wed: Subway Franchisee Briefing(This deserves another post altogether) + Night out?
Thu: PC show starts
Fri: Invitation to party(Very tempted to go, but mabbe frd jio other ppl leow)
Sat: Wedding dinner followed by drinks

Time to prioritize.

I have gone daft

Lazy Friday Morning.

As usual, I am reading the usual blogs and I realize many actually have a deep insight of stuff that are going around in this world, and I pause to think, why my thoughts pale in comparison, i.e. they are on a different vector altogether?

Then I realised, I actually am a deep thinker in the past, when I was wayyy younger. I asked why what how when at most of the things that happen in my life.

What happened?

Somewhere along the line, I realised something

- It is not necessary to let others know what you are thinking. In fact, it is better to appear silly.

- Life is too complicated already. Why make life harder by imagining the abstract, dreaming the unlikely and analyzing the inevitable? Life is short, play hard, be happy.

- Among other things.. which I shall append when I think of them.

So somewhere along the line, I have grown stupid.

However, am I happier?

So far so good

So long since I last posted here, was posting once in a blue moon in a new blog, but as it turned it, its not too user frdly.

1) i have a kitten! Felix. Cute. Pics later.

2) The big 'company' EXX I applied for rejected me on Tue, even though I thought I dint do too bad for the interview. Sienz. Oh well life goes on.
